I work from the Abuja Branch of the company.

In the course of carrying out my duties, I have been privileged to work with great minds from all over the country and in the diaspora as well. It does not matter what level you were before making the decision to learn from us, everyone is welcome.

Once You have basic computer knowledge and skills, you would come to see that the training is broken down to the latter and the support system is superb.

Permit me to blow our trumpet at Digital Marketing Skill Institute, we are good at what we do and we give our best while at it.

How long have you been working at Digital Marketing Skill Institute?

I’ve been working at Digital Marketing Skill Institute for One year and 9 months. It has been an awesome experience considering the fact that I joined at entry-level and had to work my way up to the expert position that I am in at the moment

Most importantly, I never stop learning. DMSI has provided me with a clear path to get to the top of my career and I am definitely making good use of this opportunity.

What was your journey to joining Digital Marketing Institute?

Well.

It was not straightforward. I initially applied for the role of a content writer but after attending the first interview, I was informed that the role had been filled by Ralph in Lagos.

That should have been the end of the story, but I was determined to work here and I went the extra mile to connect with Mr. Tobi Asehinde, the CEO, on LinkedIn after which I got a call for a second interview and the rest as they always say is history. I practically learned on the job.

Just for you to know, you are permitted to go as far as you want to go in your career pursuit. There is no stipulated law.

Though I knew very little about digital marketing at the time, my willingness to learn stood me out and I’d say that it’s been a jolly ride ever since.

What do you find interesting about your role?

Being in a position to help individuals and organizations achieve their goals is quite intriguing. Most of our students come in with little or no knowledge of digital marketing which provides the coaches with a clean slate to work on.

While I do my best at training students and providing support, I have never had greater joy than seeing our students close deals by implementing what they learned from us and beyond.

My heart is always full of gratitude whenever I hear their success stories because this means that our efforts were not in vain.

How has your career grown since you joined Digital Marketing Skill Institute?

I would say that it has been amazing.

From being able to take two classes within the first month to be able to teach all modules without any issues within 4 months.

There was the odd doubt that crept in at intervals back then, but with the support of the coaching team and Mr. Tobi Asehinde, my abilities and the level of my confidence grew over time.

Also, there are a plethora of resources available to learn from and I constantly seek smart ways to learn even more.

What are you most excited about?

The fact that here at DMSI, the possibilities are endless.

By keeping your head down, it is possible to move from a novice to an expert within a little period. Additionally, the thought of meeting and connecting with people from all walks of life continues to give me insight on how best to relate with people.

I am also excited about getting to the top of my career in digital marketing, the path keeps getting clearer day by day.

What do you like best working with Digital Marketing Skill Institute?

How well the team complements each other.

There is this sense of ownership where everyone is totally taking charge of their roles while looking out for others.

It does not matter if it is your primary role or not, once there is a situation that needs attention, someone is always willing to step up or call the attention of the person in charge to get a resolution in time.

What are your favorite DMSI culture values and why?

Willingness to learn and unlearn.

Even though we’re all savvy team members, there’s a quick inclination to set aside familiar practices and embrace the work ethics of our colleagues. Pay keen attention, understand their modus operandi, and seamlessly adopt new approaches to amplify our collective effectiveness.

Once you learn this hack, it becomes much easier to carry out your duties diligently. We are all weird in one way or the other, we recognize it and we appreciate one another.

If you could choose anyone as your mentor, who would you choose and why?

Joseph Akinsanya.

He has demonstrated over time, his knowledge in the field and patience in sharing this knowledge.
